How Do I Check Sassa Balance Online and SRD Status On My Phone and at Post Office for R350

Where can I self-check my status for my Sassa r350? You can use the srd website or the Whatsapp option. The website allows srd applicants through the sc19-status page to get their latest update. For WhatsApp applicants can send a message to 082 046 8553; type “SASSA” and then type “Status” and follow the message prompts.

– Cash at a specific pay point on a particular day.
– Electronic deposit into your bank or Postbank account (the bank may charge you for the service)

Will I get paid in the anniversary of my first payment for the next months? Not necessarily, the validations are done monthly, depending on whether the applicant still meets the criteria, the applicant will get paid again in the following month and not necessarily on the same day he / she was paid on the previous month.

If my application takes long to finalise will I receive double payment /back pay? If the applicant qualifies in that month of the application, he/she will be paid for that month, and also be paid for the current month if the applicant still meets the application criteria. The Payment may not necessarily be a double payment or lump sum payment, or on the same day either. It can be split up over days or weeks.

Can I use another person’s account if I do not have a bank account neither a cell Phone? SASSA will not pay into a 3rd party bank account. You can decide to change the payment method at any time by filling in a form at a welfare office, but the change will only happen a month later.

What if your application is not approved? If your application wasn’t approved, they will inform you in writing why your application was unsuccessful. If you disagree with the decision, you can appeal to the national Department of Social Development. You must appeal within 90 days of being notified that your application was unsuccessful.

I received a sms from sassa to upload my banking details but no money has been received? Once your banking details has been obtained, they should be able to pay you either through your bank account if you have one or through a cash transfer option.
